Our friends over at Girlsplained have recently launched their first of many video about safer sex in collaboration with their media partner Fully Focused Productions.
In this short film, we see three friends, Lauren, Janelle and Yaz begin to navigate the complexities of life, love, friendships and sex,
Girlsplained is a not-for-profit community group based in London, UK. Similar to us at SAUK, they envision young black and brown girls defining themselves in their communities by taking charge of their own health and rights.
Through using a range of social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) methodologies, including entertainment-education (edutainment), via short films, web series and social media.
The collective was established in 2018 after receiving seed funding from MTV Staying Alive Foundation which has allowed them to create this short film.
