Shine ALOUD Magazine launched in 2011, with the aim of providing sex and relationship information and guidance to young people under 25, in addition to tackling the lack of diversity in mainstream media.
Through the creation of 7 publication and our ongoing work as an organisation we have been able to successfully address some of the sensitive issues and topics that effect young people in relationship to sex and relationships and most importantly, provide a platform for BAME writers to produce and publish content.
We pride ourselves in creating a culture of sexual health empowerment and sex positvity as well as visibility for those who are often voiceless, all of which is paramount in reducing sexual health inequalities, particularly among marginalised groups
