In January, our founder Rianna traveled to Craiova, Romania for the Kick-off Meeting for our new Erasmus+ Funded project, Beat the Taboos (BTTs).
In September, we were due to travel to Portugal for an exchange of best practice with our colleagues from Portugal, Romania, Turkey, and Spain but due to COVID-19, this has not been possible, so instead we met via zoom to discuss the next steps for the project and funnily enough we actually met on World Sexual Health Day which fell on Friday 4th September.
World Sexual Health Day (WSHD) is an awareness day managed by the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), a global advocacy organization committed to promoting best practices in sexual health. World Sexual Day encourages people to talk about sex and sexuality.
Connecting with European Partners via Zoom on World Sexual Health Day.
Later this year we will convene a series of online workshop sessions to share best practice for educating young people with disabilities about sexual health.
