Deal with D.V. is a prevention, intervention and transitional service, raising awareness of relationships, domestic violence and abuse within teen relationships.
Deal with D.V. uses informal education to work with ALL young people between 13 and 19 years of age, to discuss teenage relationships whilst inspiring, empowering and supporting young victims of teenage domestic abuse and violence to become survivors.
One of the strengths of Deal with D.V. is having the personal experience of living through violent relationships, both from the victim’s perspective and from those close to the victim.
The organisation use their experiences to help others gain the strength and courage to live free from fear and abuse through empowering young people to make responsible choices, and to think about relationships in a mature manner.
