urlTerrence Higgins Trust, formally known as THT is renowned for its ethos of promoting better sexual health, particularly among those groups at risk of contracting HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

The charity was set up after the death of Terry Higgins who died in 1982 as a result of HIV infection.

Unfortunately in the UK, there are 100,000 people living HIV, yet a quarter of  theses people don’t even know that they have it.

THT works towards raising awareness of early diagnosis and treatment for those who have the virus, in addition to delivering better sexual health for everyone through launching clinics, counselling services, youth groups and websites to encourage people to practice safe sex.
